More Masterpieces - Art Explorers Fall 2013

My fall session of Art Explorers is coming to a close.  

Our final project was a Batik.  

A Batik is a cloth that is traditionally made 

using a manual wax-resist dyeing technique. 

We used glue instead of wax and acrylic paint instead of dye.

I think they came out GREAT!

Not everyone is done with their projects.

One more make up class coming up.

 My fall session of Art Explorers is off and running.

I have a great group of budding artists this session.

They are just finishing up their Pumpkins in Pastel projects.

I have to say, I think they are beautiful.  

They had fun getting messy while learning about highlights and shading.
